- Becky and her brother attended Finn Balor‘s wrestling school in 2002. She was only 15 years old but claimed that she was 17 years old in order to be eligible to participate (Balor was only just 20 years old at the time). In various interviews, Becky has said that she owes her entire wrestling career to Balor.
- Becky’s brother ended up wrestling for about three years. He wrestled under the name, Gonzo de Mondo.
- Becky briefly attended the University College Dublin and originally planned to have a career in law. She dropped those career plans to pursue wrestling full-time.
- Becky says that wrestling helped save her life. She says that she was drinking a lot in her youth and was on a bad path. Wrestling helped her get on a better path and changed her life.

- Becky Lynch is the first woman to win in the main event of a Wrestlemania. She accomplished this at Wrestlemania 35 when she defeated both Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey. Becky, Ronda, and Charlotte are also the first three females to main event a Wrestlemania.
- With the win, Becky became the first person in WWE history to hold the Smackdown Women’s Championship and the RAW Women’s Championship at the same time. Becky also became the first person to pin Ronda Rousey in WWE.
- At 398 days, Becky holds the record for the longest RAW Women’s Title reign in WWE history.
- Becky won the ‘Women’s Wrestling MVP’ award for 2018 and 2019, which is voted on by readers of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
